At the outer edge of a shelf towards the bottom of an E-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (dims 45.5m E-W; 37.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (at S: Wth 5.7m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.7m) separated by a fosse (at S: Wth of top 10m; Wth of base 2.6m; D 0.7m) from an outer bank (at S: Wth 3.8m; H 0.15m) ESE-SW, and by the fosse alone (at N: Wth of top 8.5m; Wth of base 3.5m; int. D 1.3m; ext. D 0.7m) NW-ESE. The fosse is damaged at NW and truncated by a NW-SE field bank at NE, while the perimeter of the platform is defined by a scarp (H 0.2m) SW-NW. There is an entrance (Wth 2m) at ENE (max. ext. diam. 56m E-W).
