Towards the bottom of the N-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34m E-W; 32m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-4.8m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.7-1.25m) separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.1-6.9m; Wth of base 2.2-3.1m; D 0.45-1m) from an outer bank (Wth 2.6-4.8m; H 0.1-0.85m), which is absent ESE-SSW. There is an entrance through the inner (Wth 2m) and outer (Wth 3.5m) banks, but no causeway, at E.
