Located towards the bottom of the SW-facing slope of a hill on what was once demesne land of Fairymount Castle, which was c. 250m to the NNE. A grass-covered oval enclosure (dims c. 60m NW-SE; c. 45m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank separated by a fosse from an outer bank SE-W is visible on Google Earth (01/03/2010). It is traversed by an E-W field bank with trees N of the centre, and was first reported by Jean Charles Caillère.
