On a N-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 54.8m N-S; 48.4m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.5-6m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.8m) SE-W-NE which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.1m) elsewhere, and a fosse (Wth of top 7.5-8m; Wth of base 3.5-4m; D 0.2m at N to 0.4m at S) S-W-NE. There is no identifiable original entrance (max. ext. diam. 69m N-S).
