On a low-lying landscape. Circular overgrown area (diam. 40m E-W; 38m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (at N: Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.45m; at SE: Wth 3.4m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1.1m) and hedge, with a fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.8m) NNE-S which has been re-cut as a field drain S-NW. There is an entrance (Wth 3.9m) at NNE which is probably not original.
