On a slight shelf overlooking a NNW-SSE stream c. 20m to the E. Rectangular grass-covered area (int. dims 24.5m E-W; 24.3m N-S) defined by stone-faced earthen banks which survive best at W and N (Wth 1.1m; int. H 0.4-0.7m; ext. H 0.4m), but the E side is accompanied by a secondary internal drain (Wth 0.8m; D 0.5m), now silted, and the S side has a secondary external drain (Wth of base 1.3m; D 0.3m). There is an entrance (Wth 1.1m), lined with large stones (dims 0.2-0.55m; H 0.55-0.9m), at the centre of the W side and a grass-covered cairn (RO035-119003-) (dims 4.5m N-S; 3.2m E-W; H 0.3-0.4m), probably a clearance cairn, E of the centre. The mill-race (RO035-119002-) passes just outside the SW angle.
