On a gentle W-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 41.5m E-W; 40.7m N-S) defined by an overgrown rounded fosse (Wth of top 8.1-8.3m; Wth of base 2.2-2.5m; int. D 1.4-1.8m; ext. D 1-1.2m) WNW-N-SE. A drystone wall circumvents the site SSW-NNW and NNE-SE on the outer edge of the fosse and a roadway occupied the fosse NE-SE, turning S away from the monument at SE. Just to the SW is rath (RO035-056002-) which appears to be cut by this rath.
