Visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP: AJN 85-88), and situated on the gentle W-facing slope of a N-S valley. An area of about 27 acres (c. 11 ha) contains the remains of a field system defined by earthen banks (Wth 1.5-2.3m; H 0.1-0.5m) creating rectangular fields (dims c. 50-100m x c. 50m) aligned WNW-ESE. At the centre, and integral with the fields, is a rectangular enclosure (RO035-034001-) (dims 24.5m WNW-ESE; 15.7m NNE-SSW) defined by earthen banks (Wth 2-2.5m; H 0.1-0.4m) with an entrance (Wth 1m) towards the W end of the perimeter at S and just E of a house site (RO035-034003-) (int. dims 11m E-W; 3.5m N-S) of two rooms with doorways (Wth 0.8m) at the centre of the long walls. There is a second house site (RO035-034005-) (int. dims c. 5m N-S; 2.3m E-W) at the NW angle of the enclosure.
