What is recorded here

On a gentle E-facing slope at the SE end of a low NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 48.8m NW-SE; 45.8m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.3-4.5m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1.35-1.5m) ESE-W-NNE, which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.3-0.35m) elsewhere. A rounded fosse (Wth of top 6.6-9.5m; Wth of base 3-6m; D 0.55-0.65m) survives SE-W-N. There is no identifiable original entrance, and a WNW-ESE field bank bisects the monument. There is a rectangular grass-covered enclosure or annexe (RO035-022002-) (dims c. 50m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) defined by scarps (H 0.2-0.9m) attached to the perimeter at SSW.
