On the S-facing slope of a slight E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 36m N-S; 34.1m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 4.6-5.2m; int. H 0.5m at S to 1.4m at N; ext. H 1.3m at N to 1.9m at S) and an outer rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.3-8m; Wth of base 1.8-2.2m; D 0.2m at S to 0.6m at N). It is circumvented by a farm track SW-NW where the bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m) and fosse (Wth of top 4m; Wth of base 1.5m; D 0.3m) are reduced in dimension. The entrance (Wth 1.8m) is at SE. Rath (RO035-016----) is c. 50m to the NNE.
