Towards the bottom of a SE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 45m) defined by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 4.5-4.8m; Wth of top 1m; int. H 0.55m; ext. H 0.5m at N to 1.8m at W) and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 4.5-5m; Wth of base 2.3m; D 0.45-1m) SW-N-NE, and by a scarp (H 1-1.5m) elsewhere. There is no identifiable original entrance, and a NNW-SSE field wall overlies the W part of the monument.
