Towards the SE end of a low WNW-ESE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 37m N-S; 35.3m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.6-5.4m; int. H 0.2-0.7m; ext. H 1.3-1.6m) WNW-N-ESE which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.2m at S) elsewhere, and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6.5-7m; Wth of base 2.2-2.8m; D 0.2-0.7m) SSW-N-SSE. The entrance may have been at SE where the fosse is absent (L 5m), and the interior is overlain by a N-S field bank of field system (RO034-099----) (max. ext. dims 67.7m E-W; 63.8m N-S).
