On a slight SE-facing slope at the head of a small NW-SE valley. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 44.2m N-S; 41.8m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 4.8-5.8m; int. H 0.5-1.1m; ext. H 1.3-1.8m) separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 10-11.2m; Wth of base 3.9-5.6m; D 0.65-1.2m) from an outer earth and stone bank (Wth 3.2-4.2m; H 0.3-0.45m) which only survive E-S-NW. There is no identifiable original entrance (max. ext. diam. 66m E-W), but the fosse has been cut and the outer bank removed by a NW-SE drain and field bank at N.
