What is recorded here

On a gentle E-facing slope. Circular, domed and grass-covered area (diam. 17.3m N-S; H 0.3-0.4m) defined by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 8.4-9m; Wth of base 3.8-4.8m; D 1.3-1.8m) and an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.8-5.3m; H 0.45-0.55m). The fosse has been deepened at E to create a pond, and there are numerous breaks in the bank, none of which can be regarded as original (max. ext. diam. 36m N-S).
