On a gentle SW-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 38.2m N-S; 34.3m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.7-3.2m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.45-1m) WSW-N-ESE which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m) elsewhere. There is a rounded fosse (Wth of top 4.5-5.8m; Wth of base 1.4-2.7m; D 0.1-0.25m) NW-E-SSW which has been enlarged by a quarry at SW, but the fosse fades away SW-NW (max. ext. dim. 49m N-S). There is a causeway (Wth 2m; H 0.2m) at ESE.
