On a W-facing slope close to the summit of the ENE-WSW Slieve Dart ridge. An area of broken and burnt stone (diam. c. 5m) visible in a field after reclaimation. An oak timber (L 8.5m; Wth c. 1m) with a narrow channel (Wth c. 0.2m; D c. 0.2m) cut in one surface was found c. 50m to the SW.
