What is recorded here

Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on the 1837 and 1928 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle E-facing slope in an undulating landscape. Subrectangular or D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 34m NE-SW; 32.5m NW-SE) defined by a curved earthen bank (at WNW: Wth 4.6m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.4m) WSW-NE and by straight field banks and walls with hedges at E, S and W. There is no visible fosse, and there is a modern entrance (Wth 3m) at NNE. Rath (RO032-041----) is c. 160m to the WNW.
