What is recorded here

On a knoll on the W-facing slope of a slight NW-SE valley. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 31m E-W; 27.2m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-3m; int. H 0.1-0.3m; ext. H 0.9-1.4m) with no visible fosse, which is incorporated into a field bank and hedge S-W-N. A drain has been dug inside the bank W-N, but there is no evidence of an original entrance. Just N of the centre is a subcircular hut-site (RO032-017003-) (int. dims 4.5m E-W; 3.4m N-S) defined by a grass-covered stoney bank (Wth 1.7-2.8m; H 0.1-0.5m) with an entrance (Wth 1.5m) at E.
