At the crest of the N-facing slope of a WNW-ESE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 52m NW-SE; 51m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.2-3.8m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.4m at S to 1.3m at E) S-NNE separated by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 5.1-6.2m; Wth of base 2.3m at E to 4m at S and N; D 0.8m N-E to 1.6m at S) from a complete outer bank (Wth 3-4m; H 0.2m generally to 0.8m at W), which is incorporated into a field bank E-S-NNW. There is a modern entrance through the inner bank at SW, but the original entrance is not identified (max. ext. dim. 61.5m N-S).
