On the lower E-facing slope of Slieve Bawn. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 31m E-W; 29m N-S) defined by a slight earthen bank (Wth 3.2-4.8m; int. H 0.5-1m; ext. H 0.8-2.8m) and hedge, with a re-cut fosse (Wth of top 6m; Wth of base 4.3m; D 0.9m) SSW-W-NE and a drain N-SE. The monument is truncated by a large E-W field drain at S and there are modern gaps in the bank at N (Wth 4m) and at SE (Wth 5m).
