Marked faintly as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on the 1837 ed. and as a D-shaped feature (dims c. 20m N-S; c. 10m E-W) on the 1915 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on the lower E-facing slope of Slieve Bawn. A curving bank (Wth 3.3m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.6m) with a field drain outside it survives S-W. The E limit has been quarried away (dims 21m E-W) and the N perimeter cannot be traced in a mature ash copse. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
