On the lower W-facing slope of Slieve Bawn. Subcircular grass and rush-covered area (dims 35.3m N-S; 31.9m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 2-4m; int. H 0.5-0.8m; ext. H 0.5-0.8m), which is reduced to a grass-covered scarp (H 0.6m) S-NW. A shallow fosse (Wth of top 3-4.2m; Wth of base 1.4-3.1m; D 0.1-0.6m) is visible WNW-E-WSW, but there is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO029-128----) is c. 200m to the S.
