On a gentle S-facing slope. Described as a circular area (diam. 52m N-S; 48m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and fosse with an entrance (Wth 2.5m) and causeway at NE (Gannon 1972). It is now a circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 48m NE-SW; 44m NW-SE) defined by the intermittently visible traces of a fosse (Wth of top 3-3.4m; D 0.2-0.3m).
