On top of a hillock at the E foothills of Slieve Bawn. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 53.4m E-W; 48.8m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.2-4.1m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 1-1.2m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.9m) SSW-NW, separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5-6.7m; Wth of base 3-4m; D 0.9-1.8m) from an outer bank (Wth 3-3.8m; ext. H 0.4-1m). There is an entrance (Wth 3.6m) through both banks at NE (max. ext. diam. 71m E-W; 68m N-S).
