Towards the bottom of the W-facing slope of Slieve Bawn. Circular scrub-covered area (diam. 40m N-S; 39m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 2.6-3m; int. H 0.5-0.7m; ext. H 1.2-1.3m) and an outer fosse (Wth of top 3.7-3.8m; Wth of base 2m; D 0.5-0.8m). There is an entrance (Wth 1.6m), probably modern, at WSW. Earthwork (RO029-107----) is 100m to the W, rath (RO029-106----) is c. 140m to the N, and rath (RO029-109----) is c. 100m to the S.
