Towards the bottom of the gentle NW-facing slope of Slieve Bawn. Subcircular overgrown area (dims 39m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-3.3m; int. H 1.1-1.4m; ext. H 1.2-1.6m) and an outer fosse (at E: Wth of top 3.5m; Wth of base 2m; D 0.4m) NNW-E-SW. There is an entrance (Wth 2m) at SE, and a drystone wall (Wth 0.5m; H 0.5m) is built on top of the bank all around.
