Towards the bottom of the gentle W-facing slope of Slieve Bawn. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34.8m NW-SE; 32m NE-SW) defined by an overgrown flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 4.8m at NE to 7m at NW; Wth of top 2.2-3.1m; int. H 0.2m at NW to 0.8m at NE; ext. H 0.6m at NE to 1.6m at SE), which is reduced to a scarp W-NW. There is no identifiable original entrance or fosse, although a pond (dims 25m E-W; 5m N-S; D 1.2m) has been dug outside the perimeter NW-NE. Earthwork (RO029-107----) is c. 130m to the SE.
