Marked as an oval embanked enclosure (ext. dims c. 50m N-S; c. 35m E-W) on the 1837 ed. and as a semi-circular hachured feature (diam. c. 30m) W-S-E on the 1915 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on a gentle S-facing slope, and described as a circular area (diam. 26.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and outer fosse (Gannon 1972). It is no longer visible in a coniferous wood, although the area remains unplanted and scrub-covered. Rath (RO029-093----) is c. 130m to the N.
