Towards the bottom of a W-facing slope of Slieve Bawn. Described as a circular area (diam. 49m E-W; 48.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank and outer fosse with traces of an inner fosse at S and NW. There was an entrance (Wth 3m) and causeway at SE (Gannon 1972). It is not now visible at ground level and is partly occupied by farm buildings.
