On a gentle S-facing slope. Circular overgrown area (diam. 46m N-S; 42m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at S-W: Wth 3.4-3.8m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.1-1.4m; at N-E: Wth 5.6-6.3m; int. H 0.7-0.8m; ext. H 1.2-1.6m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 4.4-5.6m; Wth of base 1.2-2.8m; D 0.8-0.9m). The bank has been incorporated into field banks NW-E-S, and the fosse has been re-cut as a drain NNE-SE. There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO029-016----) is c. 180m to the NNE.
