On a gentle SE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 53m N-S; 49m E-W) defined by an eroded and overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.3-7.2m; int. H 0.3-0.8m; ext. H 1-1.2m) and an outer fosse (Wth of top 5-6m; Wth of base 2.5-4.2m; D 0.3m at S to 1m at W) which has been re-cut as a drain E-SE and widened as a farm track SE-W. The original entrance is not identified, and the bank and fosse have been dug away NNE-ENE to create a pond. Rath (RO029-056----) is c. 210m to the N.
