What is recorded here

On a gentle E-facing slope at the summit of a broad hill. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 35.5m N-S; 31.9m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-3.8m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.8-1.2m) and hedge, with an outer fosse re-cut as a drain (Wth of top 2.6-4m; Wth of base 2.8m; D 0.4-0.9m) NNW-SE. The perimeter has been straightened by a NE-SW road bank at NW, and there is a modern entrance (Wth 1.8m) at SW. Rath (RO029-058----) is c. 190m to the E and rath (RO029-057----) is c. 210m to the S.
