On a W-facing slope. Circular overgrown area (diam. 40.6m E-W; 37.4m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.4-6m; int. H 0.2m generally to 1m at E; ext. H 1.2-1.6m) separated by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6-7.4m; Wth of base 3.3-4.6m; D 0.9m at W to 1.6m at S) from an outer bank (Wth 4-6.4m; ext. H 0.8-0.9m), which has been removed NNE-SE (max. ext. dims. 67m N-S; 63m E-W). A fragment of a WNW-ESE laneway runs through the interior S of the centre.
