On a gentle S-facing slope in a low-lying level landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 43.7m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.4-6.4m; int. H 0.8-1m; ext. H 0.4-1.4m) with an outer fosse (Wth of top 6m; Wth of base 2m; D 0.9m) W-N-E, and a slight outer bank (Wth 3.4m; ext. H 0.2m) surviving W-NW. The S part of the monument has been quarried. Rath (RO029-031----) is c. 150m to the SSW.
