What is recorded here

At the W end of a short WNW-ESE drumlin ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 47m N-S; 42m E-W) with a few mature deciduous trees on the perimeter at NW defined by a fosse (Wth of top 3.3-4.4m; Wth of base 2m; int. D 0.6-1m; ext. D 0.4-0.9m6). There are traces of an inner bank (H 0.9m) at NW which is cut by a farm shed built in the fosse. There is no identifiable original entrance. Gannon (1972) records slight traces of an inner bank and an outer bank which have now been removed. Rath (RO029-020----) is outside the perimeter at ESE, rath (RO029-021----) is c. 140m to the ESE, and raths (RO029-018001-; RO029-018002-) are c. 190m to the SW.
