On a gentle N-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 39m E-W; 38m N-S) defined by an evergrown, flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of top 1.2-3m; Wth of base 4.3-6.6m; int. H 0.7-1m; ext. H 1.1-1.4m) and a complete rounded fosse (Wth of top 4.3-6.6m; Wth of base 1.9-3m; D 0.2-0.4m), which is re-cut as a field drain SSE-NW. There is an entrance (Wth 2.3m) at ESE.
