Towards the bottom of a S-facing slope, c. 60m N of an ESE-WNW stream. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 48.3m E-W; 37.7m N-S) sloping down to the S (H 2m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-3.4m; int. H 0.2-0.7m; ext. H 0.9-1.5m) and rounded fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.1-0.3m) W-N-E. It is truncated at S by an E-W field bank but the perimeter may survive as a low scarp (H 0.1m) S of this. There are entrances at NNW (Wth 1.7m) and E (Wth 3.3m), and the fosse is quarried NE-E. A low E-W bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.6m) N of the field bank is also secondary.
