At the SW-facing crest of a NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34.3m E-W; 33.8m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.4-2.6m; int. H 0.1-0.2m; ext. H 0.8-1.05m) separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6.2-6.6m; Wth of base 3.3-4m; D 0.95-1.2m) from an outer bank (Wth 2.5-3.6m; H 0.2-0.5m), both of which only survive NNW-E-WSW. The entrance through the inner (Wth 1.6m) and outer (Wth c. 5m) banks and the causeway (Wth 2.5m) are at SE (max. ext. diam. 57m N-S), and the outer bank is removed by a NNE-SSW field bank WSW-NW.
