Towards the bottom of a gentle SE-facing slope. D-shaped grass and rush-covered area (dims 34.8m NE-SW; 30m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 0.35-0.55m) with some bushes, and a fosse (Wth of base 4.3m; D 0.05-0.45m) SW-NNE. There is no identifiable original entrance, but the perimeter is cut back to a straight face at NW where the fosse is quarried (Wth of top 20m NW-SE; D 0.45m).
