On the gentle SE-facing slope of a broad, low hill. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 49.1m E-W; 46.6m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.3-4.6m; int. H 0.15-0.4m; ext. H 0.8-1.2m) and a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6.7-8.5m; Wth of base 3.2m; D 0.2-0.3m), which has been re-cut (Wth of base 4m; D 0.8-1m) with an outer field bank NNW-E-SSW. There are gaps in the bank at NNW (Wth 2m), NNE (Wth 6m), SE (Wth 4m) and W (Wth 12m). Rath (RO028-159----) is c. 190m to the NNW.
