On a NE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 25.3m NE-SW; 24.2m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 0.35-0.85m) separated by a complete rounded fosse (Wth of top 4.5-6m; Wth of base 2.1-2.9m; ext. D 0.3-1.1m) from an outer bank (Wth 3.1-3.7m; H 0.2-0.4m) N-SSE. There is a causeway (Wth 2.6m) at SSE, and the outer edge of the fosse is circumscribed by a field wall and townland boundary with Manor W-N. Rath (RO028-149----) is c. 150m to the W.
