On an E-facing slope of an E-W ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 53.5m NW-SE; 48.3m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.9-5.2m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 1.6-1.9m) separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 8.4-8.8m; ext. D 1.1-1.3m) from an outer bank (Wth 3.2-4.1m; ext. H 0.5-1.1m) NE-S-WSW, which is incorporated into an overgrown field bank WSW-NE. The entrance through the inner (Wth 2.5m) and outer (Wth 5m) banks, and a causeway (Wth 5m) are at SSE. A second rounded fosse (Wth of top 6.5m; Wth of base 2.4m; ext. D 1.15m) and third bank (Wth of top 1.6m; ext. H 0.2m) survive ENE-SSE. Rath (RO028-147----) is c. 70m to the NW, rath (RO028-150----) is c. 200m to the E, and rath (RO028-151----) is c. 200m to the WSW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
