On a N-facing slope. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 33m E-W; 22.5m N-S) defned by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 2.4-3.3m; int. H 0.25-0.65m; ext. H 0.4-0.7m) NE-S. There is no visible fosse or identifiable entrance, and it is truncated by a N-S field wall at W and an E-W field wall at N. Archaeological testing (02E0282) immediately to the E failed to produce any related material (Read 2004f; 2006d). Rath (RO028-146----) is c. 60m to the SW and rath (RO028-147----) is c. 120m to the SE.
