On a level landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 24m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 2.6-3.6m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 0.5-1m), with slight traces of a fosse (Wth c. 2m) S-WSW. There is a modernised entrance (Wth 5.6m) at SE. There are old quarries outside the perimeter W-N and E-S, and rath (RO028-139----) is c. 50m to the NW.
