At the crest of the S end of a broad NW-SE ridge overlooking a turlough c. 200m to the SW. Subcircular, domed and grass-covered mound (dims 16m WNW-ESE; 14m NNE-SSW; H 0.5-0.7m) defined by a shallow fosse (Wth of base 5-7.5m; D 0.2-0.8m) and an outer bank (Wth 7-7.6m; ext. H 0.2-0.4m). There is a shallow quarry (diam. c. 12m; D 0.1m) on the perimeter where it is conjoined with the bank of ring-barrow (RO028-127003-) immediately to the E, and ring-barrow (RO028-127001-) is 10m to the W (max. ext. diam. 42.2m NNE-SSW).
