On the crest of a broad NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34.4m N-S; 33.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-3.6m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 0.9-1.3m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.4m) NNW-E, and a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6.6-6.8m; Wth of base 3.2-4.6m; D 0.2-0.3m) SE-W-N. There are entrances at SE (Wth 1.8m) and WNW (Wth 3m). Rath (RO028-125----) is c. 100m to the WNW and enclosure (RO028-236----) is c. 200m to the N.
