Towards the N end of a NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34m N-S; 33.8m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 4.4-5m; int. H 0.5-0.8m; ext. H 1.2-1.5m) and an outer flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6.2-8.1m; Wth of base 3.2-4.5m generally to 5.7m at E; D 0.2-0.3m). The entrance (Wth 3.8m) and causeway (Wth 3.8m) are at ESE, but a second entrance (Wth 2.1m) at WNW is probably recent (ext. diam. 55.6m E-W; 50.2m N-S). Rath (RO028-126----) is c. 100m to the ESE and enclosure (RO028-236----) is c. 160m to the NE.
