What is recorded here

On a broad plateau. An area of about 25 acres (c. 10 ha) has relict field banks (Wth 2-3m; H 0.1-0.6m) and drains (Wth of base c. 1m; D c. 0.1m) creating rectangular fields (dims c. 40m x c. 40m to c. 100m x. c. 50m) with two one-room house sites (RO028-122002-; RO028-122005-) (int. dims 5.8m x 1.7- 2.5m) defined by earthen banks (Wth 1-3m; H c. 0.2m). The area also has pits (RO028-122004-) (dims c. 7-10m x c. 2-3m; D 0.5m) placed in lines c. 30m apart and now covering about 11 acres (c. 6 ha), but the pits respect the field banks.
