At the bottom of the NE-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge within the area of the pitfield (RO028-116004-). Some NE-SW relict field banks are attached to the S side of the E-W field bank incorporated in the S boundary of enclosure (RO028-116001-) creating large fields covering an area of c. 14 acres (c. of c. 5.5 ha), but within this there are also traces of a system of smaller rectangular fields (dims c. 50m x c. 50m) defined by low scarps and aligned N-S. The smaller fields may be associated with the houses (RO028-116002-; RO028-116005-; RO028-116007-).
See the attached aerial view taken from the NNE where some of the houses can be seen.
