What is recorded here

On a gentle W-facing slope of the broad WNW-ESE Carnfree ridge. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 46m NW-SE; 44.4m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.7m) ENE-SSE and a scarp (H 0.4-0.5m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. A D-shaped enclosure or annexe (RO028-058002-) (dims 77m NE-SW; c. 60m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 0.3-0.5m) is attached to the NW, but it is confined by or cut by field banks at NW and NE, and both the rath and annexe are overlain by a NW-SE field bank.
